We are a small independent wine bar and shop very close to Hampton Court Palace.

We believe wine should be joyful, not intimidating. Our space is designed to feel like you’ve popped round to a friend’s house for a glass (or two).

Whether you're a seasoned sipper or just curious, we’re here to help you explore without the pressure. No lectures, no jargon — just honest recommendations and a relaxed vibe.

Our shelves hold everything from humble, excellent value wines to rare finds, and we love them all equally.

What matters most is that you enjoy what’s in your glass. Our team is always up for a chat, a fun wine fact, or helping you discover something new.

    Rachel founded The Wine Room to strip away the jargon and snobbery from wine. Her passion lies in making wine joyful and accessible for all, creating a warm, relaxed space where friends and loved ones can connect over a great glass—no pretension, just yummy wine.
